I took golden truth to essentially be a 'law' from the Game Master whereas red truth is any true statement used by players. What I mean by law is... it was stated that only Game Masters or those with the ability to become a Game Master can use the golden truth. I like to think of it similar to a D&D GM. The GM can place a rule into effect that all players must abide by. Obviously, if someone doesn't like the rule, they can walk out. But then it stops being a game. The player can leave the table, but no one in Umineko wants to do that by this point.

Conversely, the red truth is meant to debated, analyzed, torn-apart, etc. If a player doesn't like a red truth statement, they have to find the loophole. It doesn't mean the red truth is false, but it hides the truth.

So when the statement about Kinzo's corpse was made, I interpreted that as "the Game Master has decreed that this is an absolute law of the game. Kinzo is dead and this is his corpse. There's no trickery regarding concepts such as 'someone else is named Kinzo and this is their body' or 'this is a dummy that we decided to name Kinzo for funsies.'" If the same statement had been said in red, it would have been equally true, but it also would have been open to debate. It's Ryukishi's way of saying there's no bullshit or word-play shenanigans involved.

I have no explanation for the "splendid magic" golden truth though, as I don't remember the context very well. I'll have to wait until it shows up again.
