Yeah, there are people who spend money they don't have, but there are two people in the picture: 1) A person saying "I wish I could spend all this extra money on something luxurious, but I'm gonna use it to take care of my dog. Vet bills are expensive. Bummer." 2) A person saying "I had some money saved up and I spent it" while making no comment about having money issues.
