Finally caught up on everything. So far my favorite is T.I.M.E. and it's not even close. I think I actually love this track. At first because the concept of an overly dramatic version of YMCA seemed hilarious.

Then on a nostalgic level as it vaguely reminds me of a song someone that was very important to me showed me, once... a cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman that was very slow, almost lounge like. I've never been able to remember enough about the cover to actually track it down (there is a very high chance it's Richard Cheese's mash-up of "Enter Sandman" and "Mr. Sandman", but the memory is too vague for me to be positive). Not exactly the same thing, no, but it's a nice memory even if it's unrelated.

And finally, as Mana says, once you realize how powerful the lyrics truly are. It's very hard to judge YMCA on its own merits, as it's basically a parody of itself and so infamous. Once you strip away the disco and the costumes, what you're left with is unexpectedly amazing. I'm rather glad that I don't have to try to rank every song, because I don't think I want to know how highly I'd wind up scoring this track. Even if I wind up hating every other nomination, it was worth listening to the songs in this topic just to discover this one.

Won't try to give write-ups to everything else (in part because I don't want to flood the topic with posts, in part because I truly doubt I could do 1,300 write-ups), but I'll say I also enjoyed Damascus and The Friends of Mr. Cairo. Silence wasn't exactly my thing, but I appreciate getting a chance to listen to it.
