There are plenty of very confident, self reliant women that like to suck off guys, so no, that's not being disrespectful at all.

He cheated on his wife while giving an intern a #METOO moment. How exactly was he respecting women?

Nowadays people also consider JFK's affairs to be just sort of showing off how cool he was.

Nobody seems to realize that one.

At least he wasn't accused of forcible rape. Hell, the only thing he was accused of was using the secret service to murder Marilyn Monroe... oh, right.

There's also the fact that Trump ran under the "family values" party, and people enjoy the irony of the "family values" party avidly supporting a serial philanderer who's on his third marriage and openly brag about sexually assaulting women. But, you know, you've gotta protect the sanctity of marriage by not letting them gays marry. That'd just be awful.

The family values wing of the party -- along with most wings -- didn't want Trump to represent their party, though, and went to unprecedented lengths to block him. Even when he was the party's candidate, you still had ranking Republicans trying to tank him.

Otherwise there's the fact that the Democrats purport to be a party representing women's issues, yet they promoted one of the most prolific serial offenders to the highest offense in the land.
