This'll put someone else behind, but generally speaking I'd say it's better to have the party members on track. I'd also do this ASAP just because things can snowball a bit. I would NOT choose Hermit for this, as tempting as it may be, trust me it'll mess the guide up a ton I bet. Moon or Sun probably the best for this from what you have available? 3. Let Kanji lag behind. Basically keep following the guide but with the understanding that every time Kanji comes up you're one activity behind on him. You can probably make it up at the end. I say that because availability becomes a bit wonky towards the end, IIRC, but it should work out, I just can't guarantee that. The main pitfall with this plan to watch out for is that it's possible Kanji could slide a bit further back, I'm not sure. If he gains S-Link points from some other event, like say the exams posting, it's possible that it'll now happen at the "wrong" time for you and where the guide has it avoid a Spend Time session, you'll now have to do one because you have to get those points somewhere. (This can happen with Option 2 as well so be aware) I think all of these options are viable.
