And with that, KCF has beaten Batman: The Telltale Series

The focus on Bruce made this an interesting experience. I knew that most of my decisions weren't going to amount to much in the long-run, but I'd like to think that things could have turned out a lot uglier regarding Harvey. This is one of my favorite uses of QTEs in video games. The art style used with it was excellent, and I liked how forgiving it was. I know that Telltale has been using essentially the same engine since Walking Dead S1, but I'm glad that I had no technical issues outside of lack of audio in two fights.

I won't go into every little flaw (such what I perceived to be the prominence of comic book logic) I found with the game.Because of the necessity of Batman/Bruce being in every scene, some characters were not as developed as I would have liked, most notably Oswald and Vicki. I am no expert on their comic book appearances to know how close to their original origins they were, but I know for me, these were very different iterations of them than I had experienced before. I think that I needed to see more of those two before their true colors were revealed to fully appreciate them as villains..

My gut reaction ranking of the episodes:
1 > 5 > 2 > 3 > 4

Telltale has yet to fail me in starting off with a bang. They do an excellent job at pulling me into the worlds they adapt.

Overall, this game doesn't touch The Wolf Among Us, but it compares well with The Walking Dead S1 in terms of overall quality.
