I just don't know what they wanted. Talking to them, being nice, even making some of them laugh at jokes, and then asking for coffee wasn't enough. I just gave up after a while because I was like, "What's the point, she is either going to turn me down or flake on me anyways."

Well, I suppose a lot of it has to do with chemistry, like either they feel your vibe or they don't. That doesn't make it anyone's fault, it just means you gotta keep your chin up and keep trying. You can't strike out every time. My advice is, become friends first. That's step one. Gotta get to know em. Now, I haven't read this entire topic, so maybe I'm repeating what other posters have written.

That's a big issue I always had with college girls. Why is it that they can be picky about how they want guys to talk to them, yet we have to be on our best behavior and take what they give us? Fuck that. I was at a really shitty point in my life and had just been screwed over by the military and my ex girlfriend. So I went to college with my chin in the air and said 'ok, this is a fresh start.' But when I tried to ask them out, just kept getting rejected.

Cant stand that shit. They don't want to be treated as equals, they want to be treated better than guys are. Glad I'm done with college.
