Looks like the Katana Maidens recap episode this week actually explained something that was left ambiguous by the first cour ending last week. *SPOILERS*



So the super-evil Aradama bitch split away from Yukari at the last second. That means Hiyori's attempt to seal it away failed and it's still alive out there somewhere. This may also explain (what looks to be) the Aradama-possessed versions of some of the Elite Guard members that appear in the poster for the second cour.



But does this mean Yukari herself is still alive? If she is, and she's now separated from Princess Tagitsu, does that mean she's not evil anymore? Will she become an ally to Kanami and the group in the fight against it? I really don't know, but I'm even more excited for the second half of this series. Can't wait until next friday!
