Even though they shot this down before the movie was even released, I agree. Keep Luke Alive. Again, I agree. Have Kylo turn good. Rey and Kylo fight Darth Plagueis but lose and barely manage to escape. No. I'm sick of villains being redeemed just because they were once good. Have a guy who started good but was irreversibly corrupted for once. Kylo's just right for the job, he's already a patricide and tinkering with his backstory with Luke(instead of what we were actually given) can make him even more villainous. Doesn't matter though because that is exactly what's going to happen in Ep. 9 now anyway. You can bet that Kylo's gonna be a good guy at that movie's end whatever happens. For the latter part, the role of minorly clashing with Plagueis with Rey but losing and escaping should be Old Luke's. Then Luke joins them and they team up against Darth Plagueis in episode 9.
