You can actually have haste wear off well before the stat buff does. Usually it doesn't matter but without any MND boosts to speak of it can actually matter since the base duration is 20s + 1 per 50 MND. Rikku's base MND at level 99 is 135, so it can pretty easily taper off towards the end of a magicite battle if you're not super efficient on it and aren't boosting her mind. Granted the weapon mind boost is going to give you 2.5-4 extra seconds tops but yeah it can matter enough to be irritating. I'd definitely usually be using my Tiny Bee++ on her (as I do with Sazh) even if you do pay a bit of an attack fee to do it. --- No problem!
