The cop didn't approach, he was merely present to be predated on while posing as an underage girl. The defendant initiated the crime and the officer did not egg him on. Do you know that? Are the transcripts available? We don't know. But cops do. And cops let the other person initiate contact so that they can catch them. If the cops were in the wrong, then good lawyer will Hernandez him off the hook. If they cops didn't do anything wrong and let the guy initiated contact, then he's going to jail.
