Isn't that entrapment?

If the cops initiated the contact and/or led the conversation into the sexual then yes. Often on "To Catch a Predator" the adults would get off (no pun intended) because any lawyer worth his salt would claim it was entrapment because often the group "Perverted Justice" would initiate/start the sexual talk.

However, I think this guy was the one who made it sexual first.

Whatever, she will just bang boys in her school.

... "she" doesn't exist

it was an adult he was talking to

a cop

A good lawyer can get the charges dropped then.

I think you're completely missing the point...it was a cop posing as an underage girl in order to catch a predator. There was no underage girl, ever, and the predator essentially confessed his guilt straight to the cop by trying to bring the "girl" (the cop) to his house for sex.

So the charges are 100% legitimate and deserved.

Cops cant just lead people into committing crimes. Hey im 14 can u pick me up so we can bang i love sex. Responding to nonsense like that isnt even predatory behavior. Just stupid. Though in this specific case I dont know the context of the convos. Regardless my first point stands and it stands legally.

A good lawyer will get the charges dropped easily.

Nah. As I said the difference is that the legal definition of entrapment is different from the actual dictionary definition.
