Let's try throwing these nominations at the second open set of songs and see if any of them stick.

80s

Band: Survivor
Song Name: Burning Heart

I held off nominating this one because I used it at someone else's music ranking topic and I wouldn't be surprised if it was on the list, but right now I feel like complaining that this song is obviously better than Eye of the Tiger and that I'm slightly bitter it never gets enough respect.

...that is way too blunt, but I'm way too tired to care right now. @.@

90s

Band: TJ Davis
Song Name: Diamond in the Sky (Radiant Emerald)

I know I shouldn't nominate a game song, but you did say there would be exceptions if the song was released on an album: http://sonic.wikia.com/wiki/Sonic_R_(album)

Between my massive nostalgia for Sonic R and this song never getting attention (Can You Feel the Sunshine and Super Sonic Racing are the only two tracks I ever see anyone mention), and me being too tired to listen to common sense... I'll throw it out, see if it gets approved.

Always hated doing the final stage as Super Sonic as it would replace this song with Super Sonic Racing. Blech.

FUTURE SPOILERS: Remember how I mentioned I had a dream about that Cher's song placement? It was one placement ahead of a 90s videogame song...

...granted it was a different song (Goldenrod City theme to be specific), but hey, close enough. ...wait, Pokemon Gold was 2001? Never trust release dates from dreams of alternate futures...

...and yes, I suppose I could have forced this song into VGMC's auto-in bracket instead of The Smurfs, but I was really into Game Boy music at that exact moment. Also I just really wanted to get that one Smurfs song in on behalf of...whoever it was that originally nominated it, I don't honestly recall and don't feel like looking it up. Also, why am I still talking? I don't...think I'm even remotely on whatever topic I started on...

10s

Band: The Megas
Song: Bloody Tears

Band: The Protomen
Song: Hold Back the Night

Bloody Tears I covered above; decided I'd rather try backing something non-Mega Man related. It's easier to ask for an exception if it's not literally a different version of a song from your last music related topic. (Seriously though, listen to their History Repeating albums sometime, they're both amazing).

Hold Back the Night is yet another Protomen track, but this one has the female singer as the lead so it stands out from the other three I nominated. It's...excessive to nominate four songs from the same band, but if you'll let me get away with it, I'll throw it out there.
