YOUHAVENOHOPE posted...those places were already low-income before the name change usually well lower income values across an area generally precedes heavy violence and crime rates the idea is that as jobs becomes less available, some turn to crime as a means to survive crime leading to gang activity, and of course gangs have to have territory and you have to defend your turf it's a self perpetuating problem in a lot of ways that needs heavy intervention, partially because things were manufactured this way during the Nixon era and beyond. It's actually an immensely complicated issue that involves like 8 or 9 different problems with the whole of USA itself right now, the least of which is the general racism of local government and the US as a whole --- ...
