Ehh when they're all soon to be voters back by their parents and community and given a national stage as a politician you should.

Voting on the basis of what your kids says suggests that you have no authority in your home. That seems like a terrible way to live.

Generally speaking.

But lets remember

1. These kids are almost of age
2. They went through something major that at least temporarily alter your dynamics as a family

Id question your capabilities as a parent if your child surviving a school shooting doesnt have an effect on your political stances.
