| Topic | I legitimately hate Phoebe from friends |
| Distant_Rainbow 02/19/18 5:08:43 AM #6: | She was generally the odd (wo)man out of the group. The other five's lives touched on each others', and they interacted with and influenced them. Phoebe was just... there. She was a character who'd provide short laugh bites a plethora of times, but in the end, was just someone whose sphere didn't interact that much with the other five and pretty much did her own thing most of the time. Resulted in a character who one would think was absolutely hilarious when one was young, but when looking back years later, turns out to be surprisingly shallow, uninteresting, and unmemorable. She probably could have been written out of the show and there wouldn't be any huge problems in the overarching plot, whereas all the other five would have opened up giant gaping plotholes or story changes if you just got rid of their roles. --- Link meets Fire Emblem in CYOA: Tales of Elibe!
