If you think you'd like to travel and you also like to drive, central Kentucky is within a day's drive of most of the eastern half of the US. You can cover most anywhere you'd want to go in about a 16 state area or something.

Chicago, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, D.C., Baltimore, Richmond, Virginia Beach, Asheville, Raleigh, Charleston, Savannah, Atlanta, Nashville, St. Louis, etc. are all <= 10 hours. Most are < 8.

I think I read a quip somewhere that the radius includes like 2/3 of the U.S. population, which is attractive for certain business.

Just think of all the road trips!

Also, four seasons per year with practically no extremes or natural disasters, and uh, very unlikely to get blown up should things go bad I suppose?

We also have the highest % of total area covered by moving water of the 48 contiguous states (Alaska is #1). We're totally set for the impending water crisis.

Alright I think that's probably all I got.
