davidponte 02/11/18 4:36:59 PM #14:	I'd feel like my match against Emerald would be incomplete if I didn't come down here and cut another promo, like I've done so many times in my career, for my final match at Epopmania. There is no manufactured drama here. This is not good versus evil, or the blow-off to some hatred filled feud between two competitors who are at odds with each other. Simply put, this is a celebration of the new school wrestlers here in the UCA. As Emerald pointed out last week, our career trajectories have not been the exact same. I'm not going to come out here and pretend like we're carbon copies of each other, but I will say that our intentions have been shared ever since we step foot into this ring. The goal has always been to put on a show, to showcase what we can do, and to achieve greatness. This final match is no different. Somehow, our paths have rarely crossed up to this point. When Emerald showed up, I was at the top of the card, and when he finally managed to get there, I was struggling to find my footing. There were a few meetings that stood out to me, though. Most of all was our time in the Bound For Whisky series. Emerald looked like he was ready to finally take the step to main event status, and I was dancing around in an Eagle costume. But we were both on fire, eager to take the top spot in the group stage, then move on to the finals, and we both put up a hell of a fight to get there. A battle between the two newcomers. At Epopmania, the goal is to surpass that. There is no day after, no feud or title to look for after the match.
