I don't have to share any of their flaws for liking the same thing as them. That's what I used to think until it happened to me. I used to be huge into Super Smash Bros: played all the games, considered it the multiplayer series, went to tournaments, etc. But the community got so bad that I literally could not tolerate going to tournaments anymore (my constant frustration at the people overpowered whatever amount of fun I had while playing) and eventually I stopped associating with them online as well.
