Topic	Chrono Trigger - PS1 or DS?

Anyway, I've played all of the versions, and while the SNES version is the best, the DS one is essentially equal to it. Just a hair worse, and it's because I prefer the menus and interface of the original, with having everything on one screen instead of two. But, since price is an issue, go with PS1 on the PSN.
