How do humans even survive that? Serious question. I've never experienced temperatures below 0 C.

By minimizing time spent outside and covering as much skin as you possibly can with heavy clothing when you do have to be out. In general, though, you do get acclimatized to a certain extent. Not usually to extremes like that, since those are very seriously dangerous temperatures, but if you're used to cold winters -10 or -20 can be brushed off pretty comfortably.

Yeah, you definitely never get used to -30 or colder. That always just feels awful. But -20 you do get used to. And -10 starts feeling nice after a long stretch of really cold weather. Not uncommon to see people wearing spring/fall jackets in -10 weather near the end of the winter.
