I haven't played too many games, usually stick to OU or UU, but I played a bunch before and after most of my matches, and it appears to be more random than last gen to me. I know that happens in this format, but it seems a lot more frequent now. Most of the matches appear to be decided by team preview now, which makes any match seem like a 50/50 roll a lot more than skill based play. I was unfortunate this time with my matches against Shad and Flubbin being both brutal 2-0's in which my teams stood no chance whatsoever. Random teams does provide more luck than usual, but the luck/skill balance has gotten quite a bit worse, and I enjoy less matches than not, which is a shame. --- Guinness Book of World Records is the name of the diary that belongs to BKSheikah, the winner of the Best Year in Gaming contest. ...
