| Soviet_Poland 12/19/17 5:35:36 PM #30: | Life and the human experience is kind of cruelly funny, in a macabre sort of way. The absurdity of it all lends me to just try and enjoy the ride rather than keep trying to make any sense of it. I'll live as good a life as I can, which is to say that doesn't necessarily mean optimizing pleasure vs pain. I find a lot of pleasures are really just hedonistic escalators. I think Aristotle had some really valid points on the topic of happiness.
