i'm just saying it's pretty obvious and not really something to bitch about. call at a later time. and if you waited last minute to pay - a crisis on your behalf does not constitute an emergency on theirs.

1. Not due today
2. If it is 100% their fault that I am not able to pay (it is, their website is experiencing an outage) how am I at fault? Just take a step back and think it through, jen.

Lololol. "100% thier fault." You have the option to pay by phone. If you choose to ignore that option, it's 100% your fault that you didn't pay your bill.

Take responsibility.

waiting on hold for two hours during a week day isnt a viable option for me.

and yes jen, paying your bill early does boost your credit. constantly paying on the last day its due is going too hurt you.

That section is about paying additional balances or the entire balance not making the payment early. If you make an early payment before the cycle closes it all goes to your principal balance which lowers that and would obviously make your credit score improve. But you still need to make another payment when the statement for that month comes out. You're not interpreting that properly.

If you make the statement any time before the due date it's all the same. The only thing that affects your credit is paying it late.
