Oh, there's a kill limit? That might explain why The Matrix was R. Or maybe the blood in the lobby scene, but TV editing is weird and they remove stuff from PG-13 movies too.

Before the 90's, they didn't have stuff like Human Centipede, but they had slasher films with a lot of nudity and over-the-top gore. The Terminator is also a bad example. It has a sex scene, for one. It's also more of a suspense action movie than a blow-em-up action movie. Stuff like Commando and Rambo is ridiculously violent


i've always hated that. deadpool, logan and even the matrix shows movies can be huge hits even with a R rating.
