5 is the best star wars movie. Pretty much everything we know as the emotional palette of the series is established here

7 was incredibly sterile. Outside of han's arc I don't think I felt anything during the entire movie other than spectacle. The villains weren't threatening at all and few things made logical sense. This is outside the lore disappointment that the galaxy has been "soft reset" and the original trilogy rendered meaningless. Granted, it hit plenty of neat visual notes and did what it had to do- re establish what the series was about and prove star wars still had what it takes to sell toys

6 had some fun space battles with great choreography. This is even though Ewoks sucked and I found the battle with palpatine cheesy as shit. "Hey, here's exactly how to lose, Luke... deww it!" Every time Luke was about to turn, palp would shout something dumb and bring him to his senses. I also hate many of the changes they keep adding to the movie in subsequent editions to loop in the prequel trilogy

4 was a solid foundation that remained logical and had some soul to it

The prequels are just a hot mess we don't need to get into. Just watch the red letter media thing.

Rogue one was fun, but it felt even more like an avengers/fast and furious movie or d20 campaign than usual. I'm totally fine with Jedi (who have precognition) effortlessly mowing down generic soldiers. My suspension of disbelief goes away when 'random person with gun' does the same.

It's hard to create a one dimensional ranking, and I haven't seen 6 in a while...

5 > 4 > 7 = 6 = rogue1 >>> 3 > 2 = 1

You did indeed stab me in the back. However, you are only level one, whilst I am level 50. That means I should remain uninjured.
