While I don't like Sam Seder, it seems silly to do this now. Plus, while it's nice that he won't be on there, he's going to go *somewhere* else which makes him harder to escape.

Apparently, it was a smear campaign by some alt-right dude.

Considering he posted what he was accused of posting and got in trouble for posting, I'm not sure how that qualifies as a smear campaign. You can call it other things, but it's not a smear campaign.

This is why liberals lose so many elections and get little done when they miraculously do briefly have power.

While you've been on a shitposting storm lately, conflating an entertainment celebrity with politicians is a new low. Your comparison is so colossally wrong on so many levels it beggars imagination but, fundamentally speaking, stations tend to be cautious since they're worried about appealing to advertisers who are worried about customers whereas politics cuts through several layers of middle-men.

Media figure makes a sarcastic joke to lampoon his industry's poor handling of sexual assault (as I alluded to earlier w/ the "GFAQS mods", if I actually used the word that rhymes w/ tape in any context, I'd automatically get moderated) and is fired for it. Liberal.

Apparently in alternative facts land no conservative media figure has ever been fired for a joke or objectionable comment.

Meanwhile, a guy who commits sexual assault and harassment, on people half his age and many of them minors, doing so while a District Attorney or judge, is about to be elected to the U.S. Senate. Conservative.

Accused. That's one of the big differences. Sam created evidence of his malfeasance whereas Roy's were unprovable accusations. More importantly, given that Bill Clinton *settled* sexual harassment lawsuits and was accused of rape (including a 13 y/o) but elected to the presidency anyway, it pretty much shows that there's no standard in this regard.
