People seem to think that major news agencies can just make shit up, journalistic integrity is a real thing and they will get major shit for getting things wrong, regardless of political affiliation. That said they can choose what to report on and when but it's not like some wasteland of disinformation, we the consumer are held to at least some standard, and screeching "fake news!" does nothing to help. Theres a difference between reporting a false story (which they can get in trouble for and doesnt happen all that often for that very reason), and spinning a story to fit an agenda, which will not generally get anyone in any real trouble and happens every single fucking day. There will always be an agenda, those that agree with it see it as truth and those that don't will see it as propaganda, it's our job as consumers to see this and make our judgement.
