Yeah just work up to it, try jogging more at first then pick up speed as time goes on.

I have to ask because I'm truly new- but what's the difference between running and jogging? I get that jogging is supposed to be slower but is there a certain technique to it? Should my movements be different from running when jogging?

Run or ride a bike. That's it

unfortunately I threw my old bike away some months ago. It would've been great though, there's a 2.7 walk from my bus stop to my house that I usually walk :C

Pull ups, push ups and sit ups aren't going to do anything for your running.

I know :c I just got concerned with all the extra stuff.
Would squats help?
