Topic	increases in the minimum wage lead to higher grocery prices

I actually don't view myself as having a strong opinion on the minimum wage, but it is one area where I do not see anyone but mindless conservatives talking about the potential downsides and so I try to inject some skepticism into the conversation when I can. Overall I think the evidence is good that we should raise minimum wages, but basically yeah, the implementation and overall level of the min. wage is more important than people seem to admit at least. Labor is a commodity. When you increase the cost of a commodity, you decrease the demand for it. When you increase the minimum wage, you put people out of work.
