Topic	How come so many people recommend the atronach sign in Oblivion?

That's actually why the Atronach sign is probably the best one in Morrowind. If you Restore Attributes at a shrine, it counts as magic. If you absorb that magic (there's a 50% chance with the sign alone), it restores your Magicka. The downside is that the shrine's blessing won't work in that instance, but with a 50% chance, it's not too bad. A nifty trick is to use Mark, then Divine Intervention, then Restore Attributes (at the shrine), then Recall back to where you left the Mark.
