Why did people keep listen to radio even if they could keep repeating their favorite songs on LP, MC, Minidisc, MP3 Player, a dozen or so other formats, etc?

Because stereos that supported those kind of things weren't as ubiquitous. Nowadays I don't think you can even get an aftermarket car stereo without some kind of external device connectivity, and that kind of thing is becoming standard in stock car stereos too.

Also, back then it was harder to find better music. You had to actually go buy albums so I imagine most people would just buy stuff from bands they already heard on the radio just to be safe. You could dive deeper, like asking a record store clerk and listening in store before you bought it, but that isn't nearly as convenient as streaming a song to see if you like it. Digital music also allows artists who don't have the resources to put physical products in stores to get more exposure.

We had no problems with mailing mixtapes back in the days.
Sure, it took longer time and you had to actually spend some money on it, but it also made you a part of something bigger.
But I guess you had to be there to get it.
