Lets put it this way: When the most difficult part in the game for me (the first Wesker fight on Professional) is difficult only because your forced AI partner gets one-shot killed less then a minute into the fight (which is 7 minutes long) and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it, then yea the AI sucks. The co-op ai is quite terrible.
