Expressing presumption of attraction can be prejudice, such as ruling out all black people because you feel like you wouldn't be (so without reason). However, it wouldn't be prejudice to say you're not attracted to black people if you have experience meeting black people who have traits you're usually attracted to, but you don't get attracted.

The problem with that is every race could have any traits so saying "I'm not attracted to *insert race here* because they have *insert trait here*" seems redundant as your basically saying your not attracted to any race with that trait so singling out just one race and claiming only that race has that trait and that's why your not attracted to them is racist in my book. It's also a blanket statement as not every member of that race will have that trait.

You might want to re-read what I said.

I'm not saying people associating traits with races isn't prejudice. I'm saying if a guy says he likes girls with slim waists that are in to gaming, and then meets a slim-waisted gamer who happens to be black and feels no attraction, it would be a reasonable assumption that he's just not in to black girls. There's no malice, no assumptions, no ranking of peoples, just a lack of attraction. It's reasonable to make a statement from experience, and in this case it is experience, not an assumption.
