For example, there is no Russian jungle. The closest thing they have is a rain forest. It wouldn't surprise me if he threw that in just to make people go "wait what" or even better just to (on the downlow) point out that Volgin has absolutely no idea what he is talking about or what he is doing at any point in the game, regardless of how well he should.
