I live in Norway, so the electricity is way cheaper than the gas. + for the time being, its free to go through the toll. I can charge in the area where i live for about 6$ a month, for now at least. They are talking about expanding it for better charging capabilites because more people are getting electric cars - which probably needs to be funded by owners of such cars. As for now and the near future, its very cheap at least

I got a great deal on it and since im not a car guy, the personality of the car doesnt bother me much. Although i agree, i see them everywhere xD But i look at the positive aspect of it - if a lot of people own the same car as me, its probably easier to get spare parts, cheaper service etc

Its the 2017 Tekna version. I looked at the 2018, but that had a waiting line so far that when that comes around, i would probably drool at the 2019 version xD haha. Better to just get it out of the way ;)
Some of the features in the 2018 version looked cool, though. Ill admit that

Ive been looking around on a few forums and found tips along the lines of what i was looking for: Maybe once i give examples, its easier to give more:

A stick of the cars paint job to keep in the car. To cover up if a small stone damages it a little or something
An automatic parking timer, that way i dont have to worry about setting a manual timer everytime. Avoiding them fines
Apparently the night lights/beam (not sure how to translate this one) are pretty weak and i can be better by putting a bigger earth cable to the bulb. Nissan will apparently fix this if one complains about it - free fix
Not let the Leaf continue to charge for hours after it has reached a 100%. From what ive read, that will weaken the battery over time. Im actually not sure how easy this is to do. Anyone got any experience with this?

On the sales papers it is noted that the battery has a warranty for 8years/100 000km (drops below 75%), so i guess that means that they are pretty confident in their batteries, which is a good sign :) It is one of my worries, haha
