What's the difference(s) between the House of Representatives and the Senate?

The HoR is composed of politicians, civilians, and other representative of the public. Each state can have multiple representatives as according to their size/population/importance. Their main role is during the election, where they can vote following their state's voters' wishes or against it.
While the Senate is composed of senators from the different states. The political parties in each state can nominate their senators to be THE senator of that state. Each state has a different way to decide who wins the senate seat but it's all very political. Their role is to vote for federal decisions.

How many Presidents have been impeached and who, if any, were they?

No. One came close to being impeached but resigned or died before they could impeach him. Maybe it was Woodrow Wilson.

Is America a democracy?

Well, in that the people have some power to decide their leader and policies, yes. It's a very crazy and complicated system of democracy though.
