Topic	How well would an M rated Pokemon Game do?

And, in general, while I've sometimes thought it'd be cool to have a Pokemon clone with a slightly more in-depth story and a different setting, I'm not sure that the concept lends itself that well to the idea. Literally the Shin Megami Tensei series, although it did the collectible fighting Monster thing before Pokemon. Vaguely heard of it, but never played it. I thought the actual player characters also fought in those games with a kind of party system, though, which are kind of a dime a dozen compared to games with Pokemon's format. Is the collectible side of things really that big in SMT?
