Life? id say no... but definitely a punishment that stings.
A punishment that stings? Kids lost their father because of these shits. Maximum punishment and nothing less.
Maximum penalty for something like that where i live WOULD probably be 16 years... and thats if the kids are unlucky.
i think... im not a lawyer but i dont approve of lifetime imprisonment
years? yeah for sure... until you die? i dunno about that... Im European so my viewpoints are probably different on that alone.

EDIT: Just checked, since this wasnt 1st degree according to my countrys laws the most they could get is 8 years, and thats under "Extreme Circumstances"
