Do you think these hooligans deserve life in prison?

These are the faces of the Five jerks who are charged with second degree murder in the death of a 32 y/o father in Michigan who was killed by a huge rock that was thrown from an overpass and smashed through the windshield of a van he was in!!

The teens are 15-17 years old and are charged as ADULTS. Prosecutor David Leyton said he will seek a second degree murder charge against them for the death of 32 y/o father, Kenneth White.

17 yo Kyle Anger and 15 year olds, Alexander Miller, Trevor Gray, Mikaydyn Payne and Mark Sekelsky were the kids responsible.

All 5 could face LIFE in prison for 2nd degree murder and are also charged with conspiracy to commit 2nd degree murder and malicious destruction of property

David said "i don't think this was a deliberate attempt to take somebody's life. It was a wilful and wanton act that resulted in somebody's death"

Kenneth was kileld when a 6lb rock smashed through his windshield after these teens through 20 rocks down from an overpass and one of them hit Kenneth's head where was knocked unconscious and later died in hospital.

Photos show the large rock and the damage done to the vehicle as several vehicles were in the path of these giant rocks falling from an overpass.

His, Amy Cagle was devastated who can't understand how anyone can danger people's lives and now her 4 children are left without a father and the love of her life was taken from her..

Do these 5 Hooligans deserve life in prison?

I have no sympathy for these bitches, if they get life in prison. They knew what they're doing, the liberals in this topic will want them to rehabilitate these numbskulls. But I say throw them in for life, so they understand the levity of the situation and to deter from anyone else doing stupid shit like this

Yaaas. Fucking glad these kids aren't getting slapped on the wrist. Make an example of them. They weren't just "kids being kids", throwing rocks from an overpass is a special kind of stupid.

I once heard of an incident where someone threw a pumpkin off of an overpass and killed a driver. I can see how a child or a teen might think that the pumpkin would explode against the windshield rather than go through it. Poor understanding of physics, images dancing in their minds of the driver having to spend an hour cleaning a pumpkin mess off of his or her windshield.

But when you throw a rock, especially one of that size, you know full well you're aiming to murder somebody. No sympathy for these assholes.

That's the thing, though.... I could understand idiots not realizing the damage that they could do to cars by themselves, but any reasonable person could easily imagine the havoc it could cause by drivers freaking out and veering to avoid thrown rocks or overreacted to rocks hitting their cars (assuming the mindset that they don't realize the damage that they could cause). So, even if they make the argument that they didn't understand the damage that the rocks could cause, you've got obvious callous indifference, criminal mischief, and grounds for premeditated murder charges by not taking into account reactions to dangerous behavior.

Throw the book at them.

Life? id say no... but definitely a punishment that stings.

Recall a new story some months ago about an entire family being ruined that way... and they still hadnt caught the perpetrators

So yeah, definitely something theyre gonna feel... but i wouldnt say life.

Maximum penalty for something like that where i live WOULD probably be 16 years... and thats if the kids are unlucky.

i think... im not a lawyer but i dont approve of lifetime imprisonment

years? yeah for sure... until you die? i dunno about that... Im European so my viewpoints are probably different on that alone.

Atleast they got caught...

EDIT: Just checked, since this wasnt 1st degree according to my countrys laws the most they could get is 8 years, and thats under "Extreme Circumstances"

Not even remotely.

And I agree with the murder 2 charges. Give them 20 years and maybe parole after 15. Losing the prime of your life in an American prison would be hell.

If they truly feel bad for what they have done and suffer emotionally what they have done, then i think rehabilition would work best + huge amount of money for the wife so she can keep her children fed.

BUT the thing is that we all can act, we never know when someone is sincere or not. If i were to get life sentence on prison i would act as good as i possibly could to avoid that. Maybe those teens would just keep joking about the incident later if they avoided prison and learned nothing.

I honestly don't know what's fitting punishment here. If those are not bad kids, only stupid as fuck, they would become such after prison and probably end up criminals because they couldn't get jobs.

I hate topics like this because i get pissed and butthurt at people sympathizing and defending teenagers throwing rocks at cars on the highway that literally killed a father. Ok, let it be your father and then Id LOVE to hear your sympathy for them then.
