Plenty of games still get banned characters in tournaments. We're talking about current games, not games from 15-25 years ago that can't be updated. These days games generally get supported with balance updates for at least long enough to iron out anything SO crazy that entire characters need to be banned, and if games DON'T get that kind of support then they're usually not played enough for there to be a relevant tournament scene that would ban things in the first place. --- SuperNiceDog didn't have to reconcile his name...
