The AI of the killer was so hax to Slender-like proportions: Noise when it approaches, offscreen teleportation, instant one hit kill with no chance of escaping because the sound rapes your eardrums on approach. It's clearly a horror game that's meant to shock you rather than enfeeble you with the desperate attempts of an unreasonable madman whilst you try to escape.
