Went in expecting another mediocre reboot/sequel of a long dead franchise but it is easily one of my favorite movies this year 2049 is a good example of successfully rebooting an older franchise without it pandering or missing the mark total recall, robocop, the force awakens, terminator genisys are examples of how easily you can mess up a franchise --- ...
