SunWuKung420 posted...I love how schmen conveniently forgets all his ancestors were immigrants. yeah when my family came over, one of my ancestors was held up at Ellis island and forced to learn english and if he couldn't they where gonna ship his ass back to Germany. I love how people think what our ancestors did should have any bearing on what we do or don't do. I didn't ask to be born in this country (glad I was but moot point) I just was. now I do think the process should be easier, I don't give a rats ass if they know our history, or can recite our constitution (they don't even make OUR high school kids do that anymore) all I care about is, do they have a criminal record? do they have a basic grasp on our laws? are they at least willing to make an attempt to learn our language? and finally are they going to be able to be a productive member of society? if all of these check out let em in. --- Cid- "looks like that overgrown lobster just got served!"
