Actually I think I have figured Trump out - hes like a 9th grader taking his first class where he has to write papers.
He will read a book or listen to someone smart say something on a subject and then try really hard to repeat it while changing a few words to make it look like he really knows the material when doesn't REALLY get it.
There's this great scene in Survivor Worlds Apart where Dan gets stung by a jellyfish and tells Jenn, who is an actual lifeguard, that he was fine because he had peed on it and she told him that that doesn't really work and he has to boil his foot. She makes him promise he will and she walks away.
Dan then proceeds to walk up to someone else and tells them he was stung by a jellyfish and she immediately tells him he has to pee on it and he gets this smug look on his face and is like "Actually you have to boil jellyfish stings, IDIOT"
Donald Trump basically IS Dan.
Can't be. Trump would've argued with the actual lifeguard that peeing is actually the correct thing to do, and that the lifeguard is dumb and wrong. He actually has a pretty solid history of that sort of thing. ---
