I had a Game Boy, a Game Gear, and a GBA, but I rarely ever played them (and I think I mostly just played the ports of older games on the GBA anyway, like the Mario games or DKC2). I guess it's because visual novels translate so well to handhelds, and I've gotten into them a lot over the last ten years or so.
