Some added thoughts on minigames:

Hangman's Gambit: This feels a bit better than the previous ones? Largely because you can hold circle to speed things up so it's not as interminable. Still feel like it works better in Japanese though (I played DR2 in Japanese).

Argument Armament: Hated this. It's super easy and takes a long time and it's boring. Maybe it'd be better on hard mode or something, but I doubt that would make it any faster.

Psyche Taxi: The worst minigame. Maybe the worst DR minigame period? It takes forever to play and it's incredibly easy and you rarely get much for new information. I never made a single mistake while playing this. Was annoyed whenever it popped up.

Mind Mine: Not too bad since you can play at your own pace, but I don't really get why it exists. At least it's inoffensive.

Debate Scrum: This is the best. I was always excited when it came up. It has cool music and it's just super fun lining up all the arguments. I got better at it later in the game which made it a little less fun, but it was always good.

Mass Panic Debate: This was pretty cool. Made things more complicated but not too much to handle. Only point of annoyance was that sometimes it'd take so long to silence the loud text that I wouldn't have time to fire off my bullet. I got better at it by the end though.

Sword Debate Thing (can't remember the name <_<): Pretty good. Was sometimes hard to follow everything that was being said though, and the slashes weren't as precise as I would've liked.

Lying: A very cool new mechanic. It'd be really interesting to see all the places you can lie throughout the game and how that would change things. Unfortunately, and maybe this was just me missing something, there's no way of telling what the lie is going to be until you hold down the button, and then you have to fire it and lose influence. Definitely hurt my willingness to experiment with it.

Closing Arguments: Mentioned this earlier, but it's way too slow. Putting together the argument is fun, but watching it unfold is terrible. The earlier games did this way better. Not sure what they were thinking here.
