You make a decision whether you come to work,” he went on. “And I am here to tell you, if a person is not enabling you to breastfeed at work or making proper accommodations on the job, we could pass this legislation, but you do not want to work for this man. Get the hell out of there.” This is correct though. Compelling your boss, under penalty of law, to allow a chair at your workstation and/or a 'pump break' once or twice a day, isn't going to make him any less an inconsiderate asshole. May even boost you to the top of the layoff list, for "performance" reasons that are just barely not quite legally-defined gender discrimination. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
