The article I read states he shot the suspect and allegedly planted the gun, not the other way around. Given that the charges were refuted in a court of law, I'm not 100% sure "allegedly" even applies any more. I think usually it becomes "was accused of" which, looking at the article now, seems to be the verbiage they used. Otherwise yes, the placement of allegedly is confusing in general since the fact he shot the man was never in dispute by anybody, only the matter of whether it was self-defense and whether he planted the weapon. --- (\/)(\/)|-| In Zeus We Trust: All Others Pay Cash ...
