Sometimes I realize it's silly how many unemployed people there are because I know some would make it a priority to come in given the same exact situation. Really can't stand laziness, and this was just a perfect example. They really couldn't even send a text message lol? There needs to be more to this story


I really hate the mentality that if you don't want to work overtime you're lazy. Not everyone wants to spend every waking moment at work. Some people work to live, they don't live to work. Just because the opportunity to make extra money is there doesn't mean someone is required to take it. If it's not mandatory, it's not lazy to decline overtime. Some people prefer to have a work life balance that doesn't include spending more time at work than at home doing things they enjoy.
